【 摘 要 】

Cash is an appropriate instrument toprovide assistance to poor and vulnerable households in mostcontexts in Myanmar. Cash transfers (CTs) have the potentialto help poor and vulnerable householdsmeet basic needs andencourage investments in human capital accumulation.Building on existing programs such as the stipends programand testing CTs with relatively simple design andimplementation arrangements can be a viable option in theshort term.
