【 摘 要 】
OccurenceofToxoplasmagondiiwasinvestigatedinsurfaceanddrinkingwatersamplescollectedfromAmasyabynestedPCR.Total120surfacewatersamplesand20drinkingwatersampleswereflocculatedbyAluminumSulfateandtheywerepurifiedsucrose-gradient.AllofthewatersampleswereusedforDNAextractionandthen,nestedPCRwereperformedforthem.While48outof120watersamples(40%)werefoundpositiveforT.gondii,therewerenoanycontaminationin20drinkingwatersamplesforToxoplasma.ThewatersamplestakenfromTersakan(Suluova),Tersakan(Karasu),TersakanlastandYesilırmak(Tasova)stationswerepositiveforToxoplasma.ThisstudyisfirstreportoninvestigationT.gondiiinAmasyabyusingNestedPCR.AmasyaProvincehasextensiveagricultureandanimalhusbandryandalso,ithasinsufficientwastewatertreatmentplants.SinceRiverYesilırmakisusedforagriculturalterrainirrigation,thisstudyisimportantinmaintainingpublichealthofthisregion.
