Moderatecollectionsoffossilspongeshavebeenrecoveredoveraseveral-yearperiodfromafewscatteredlocalitiesinwest-centralandeast-centralAlaska,andfromwesternmostYukonTerritoryofCanada.Twofragmentsofthedemospongeagelasiidcliefdenellid,CliefdenellaalaskaensisStock,1981,andmostlysmallunidentifiableadditionalfragmentswererecoveredfromalimestonedebrisflowbedintheWhiteMountainarea,McGrathA-4Quadrangleinwest-centralAlaska.FragmentsoftheagelasiidactinomorphgirtyocoeliidsGirtyocoelianaepiporata(RigbyPotter,1986)andGirtyocoeliaminiman.sp.,plusaspecimenofthevaceletidcolospongiidCorymbospongiaampliaRigby,Karl,BlodgettBaichtal,2005,werecollectedfromprobableAshgillianagebedsintheLivengoodB-5Quadrangleineast-centralAlaska.Amoreextensivesuiteofcorymbospongiids,includingCorymbospongiabetellaRigby,PotterBlodgett,1988,C.micaRigbyPotter,1986,andC.(?)perforataRigbyPotter,1986,alongwiththevaceletiidcolospongiidsPseudo-imperatoriaminima?(RigbyPotter,1986),andPseudoimperatoriamedia(RigbyPotter,1986),andwiththeheteractinidNuchanaucum?PickettJell,1983,wererecoveredfromuppermostpartoftheJonesRidgeLimestone(Ashgillian),onthesouthflankofJonesRidge,intheSheepMountainQuadrangle,inwesternmostYukonTerritory,Canada.ThefossilspongesfromtheMcGrathA-4andLivengoodB-5quadrangleswererecoveredfromattachedSiberianterranes,andthosefromtheSheepMountainQuadranglewererecoveredfromanallochthonousLaurentianterraneintheYukonTerritory.
