This report consolidates the findingsand recommendations from studies on climate resilient roadassets in Albania, financed through a grant provided by theGlobal facility for disaster reduction and recovery (GFDRR).The objective of the work is to assist the Albanianauthorities in the prioritization of current and futureclimate, and seismic resilient investments in the roadsector. The work has used climate and seismic vulnerabilityassessments, and proposed mitigation measures to improveclimate and seismic resilience of the Albanian road network. The report finds that the investment in resilience andmitigation measures on the Albanian national road network iscost effective and is much less than the estimatedannualised cost of the damage and loss that would accrue ifmitigation measures are not put in place and maintained.
