【 摘 要 】

The complete amino acid sequence of an invertebrate calcium channel α-subunit from housefly (Musca domestica) larvae (designated Mdlα1) has been deduced by cDNA cloning and sequence analysis. Mdlα1 shares higher percent sequence identity with 1,4-dihydropyridine (DHP)-sensitive L-type than with DHP-insensitive calcium channels. As shown by whole mount in situ hybridization and immunostaining Mdlα, is predominantly expressed in the larval body wall musculature.
