【 摘 要 】
Energy is important criteria in determining the world's economy. The increasing demand on energy due to industrialisation, population growth and rise of living standards have led to considerable use of fossil fuels. Biodiesel proves to be a good alternative for fossil fuels. But the feasibility of biodiesel is the major factor for determining it as an alternate fuel for CI engines.The selection of suitable biodiesel with the appropriate blend for the IC engine plays a vital role in the energy sector. The objective of this study to identify the apt fuel blend using FAHP-PROMETHHE. FAHP method is applied to find the relative weights of the criteria, while PROMETHEE has been used to identify the best alternatives. NOx, Smoke, HC, CO, CO2, BTE, EGT, ID, CD and MRPR were considered as the assessment criteria. From the results, it is observed that B20 is the best blend.
