【 摘 要 】

The present study was investigate the hepatoprotective effect of ethanol extract Mymercodia pendans(EEMP) in white rats. Hepatotoxicity was induced in rats by oral administration of Paracetamol (PCM) 250 mg/kg/d for ten days. Effect of concurrent administration of EEMP at a dose of 250 mg/kg/d given by oral route was determined using aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT) and histological paramater as indicators of hepar damage.
