【 摘 要 】
These case studies complement theearlier groundbreaking work of Natural Disaster Hotspots: AGlobal Risk Analysis published in April 2005. Three casestudies address specific hazards: landslides, storm surgesand drought. An additional, three case studies addressregional multi-hazard situations in Sri Lanka, the TanaRiver basin in Kenya, and the city of Caracas, Venezuela.
