This report focuses on the potential andopportunities for smallholder commercialization in Zambia.The paper discusses the framework for Zambia'ssmallholder commercialization strategy, the current state ofsmallholder agriculture in Zambia, key issues, support fromagribusiness to smallholders, and development of potentialand opportunities for smallholder commercialization. Thepaper concludes with three strategy areas: how to strengthenexisting market mechanisms, reform of sectoral policies, andinvestments in public infrastructure.
