【 摘 要 】

This Investment Climate Survey Report(ICSR) for Cote d'Ivoire evaluates the country'sbusiness environment by (i) analyzing barriers to privatesector investment and growth and how they vary amongdifferent types of firms, (ii) benchmarking the Ivorianinvestment climate and firm performance to that of othercountries and (iii) providing recommendations to promote andstrengthen the private sector. The ICSR is supported by thestatistical analysis of a survey of firms based in Coted'Ivoire's major urban centers, as well as datafrom other sources. This ICSR identifies key areas whereinvestment climate reforms may be warranted. It is largelybased on the analysis of Enterprise Survey data; which aresurveys of mostly manufacturing, formal sector enterprisesin the major industrial centers of an economy. Coted'Ivoire is one of the very few countries inSub-Saharan Africa with a ratio of manufacturing to GDPhigher than 15 percent.
