【 摘 要 】

The specific objective of this policynote is to derive insights that can contribute to rapid andsustainable integration of small-scale farmers into thelivestock and horticulture value chains in Swaziland. Itseeks to do this by identifying constraints that may becontributing to poor performance in the two value chains,evaluating technological options that could improveproductivity, and identifying priority areas for futuregovernment interventions. The livestock and the horticulturevalue chains were selected for in-depth analysis becausethey both are important to Swaziland, and have the potentialto become even more important in the future.
