Doing business is challenging in theDemocratic Republic of Congo and presents opportunities forinnovative approaches to banking, especially for micro,small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) - and particularly forwomen entrepreneurs. But it is getting easier, thanks toinnovating banking. This SmartLesson reviews some of theearly lessons learned from the ongoing implementation of aWomen in Business (WIN) component in a MSME finance projectwith Rawbank, S.A.R.L, and the second-largest bank in theDemocratic Republic of Congo.
