【 摘 要 】

The authors compare three approaches tolinking representative-household macro models with microhousehold income data in terms of their implications formeasuring the poverty and distributional effects of policyshocks. These approaches are a simple micro-accountingmethod, an extension of that method to account for changesin employment structure, and the Beta distribution approach.Even though in the authors simulation exercises the threemethods do not lead to fundamentally different results inabsolute terms, they show that potential differences in themeasurement of distributional and poverty effects of policyshocks can be very large.
