This short country report, a result oflarger Information for Development Program (infoDev) -supported survey of the Information and CommunicationTechnologies (ICT) in education in Africa, provides ageneral overview of current activities and issues related toICT use in education in the country. Liberia is in theprocess of developing a comprehensive ICT policy calledE-Liberia: vision 2010, yet efforts at increasing access anduse of ICTs have already begun under the telecommunicationpolicy. In the education sector, Liberia has no specificpolicy on ICTs, but there is wide acknowledgement that ICTsneed to be incorporated in schools and universities.
