【 摘 要 】
The objectives of the analysis presentedin this report are to: 1) affirm the existing estimates ofsmall hydropower technical potential and assess the economicviability of small hydropower plant (SHPP) sites in theKyrgyz Republic, 2) estimate the fiscal or financial supportthat would be required to foster SHPP development in theshort- and longer-term; and 3) analyze the legal andregulatory framework for SHPPs, including challenges andbarriers for private investors.
