【 摘 要 】
The goal of this research project was to extend our knowledge of surfactant-enhanced bioavailability of PCB residues for bioremediation and to evaluate new assays for determining endpoints for safe and effective bioremediation of PCBs and other HOC. It was necessary to expand the soil regimes for which combined surfactant flushing/bioremediation technology is appropriate and determine if the bioremediation endpoints and effluents represent environmentally safe targets for PCB clean-up.
