【 摘 要 】
The goal of this research is to provide scientific evidence to better define how the rate and extent of PCB and PAH biodegradation in soil/sludge/sediment materials is influenced by the rate and extent of chemical desorption from the solid to the surrounding aqueous phase (i.e., bioavailability). This knowledge will enhance understanding of engineered land-treatment based biostabilization as a remedial approach for soil/sludge/sediment materials containing PCBs and PAHs.
