The Transportation System Capability (TRANSCAP) model is a discrete-event simulation model designed to simulate deployment of forces from army bases - the first step of an army deployment. The model, which dynamically simulates the loading and transport of military cargo from an installation, will be used to plan real-world operations and to train army transportation specialists.
