【 摘 要 】

The EU is one of the world's largest producers and consumers of beef, pork, and poultry, but EU tariff-rate quotas (TRQs) and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) policies continue to limit imports of U.S. meats. Interactive Chart: The accession of 13 states to the EU in 2007 provided a unique opportunity to observe and document the impact of Sanitary and Phytosanitary regulations on imports of US broiler meats by the most recent EU members. See the Interactive Chart of some of the data analyzed in the report.Errata: On December 9, 2014, the last paragraph on page 5 was revised to provide more detailed information on allocation of the EU TRQ for beef. On page 7, the first sentence in the box, the units for Canadian damages were revised to Canadian dollars. Five new citations were added to the references.
