【 摘 要 】

We obtain Wong-type comparison theorems for second order linear dynamic equations on a time scale. The results obtained extend and are motivated by Wong's comparison theorems. As a particular application of our results, we show that the difference equation Delta(2)x(n) + b (-1)(n)/n(c) x(n + 1) = 0 where c < 1, b not equal 0, is oscillatory. @ 2008 Elsevier Inc.
