Under the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis for the Dedekind zeta-function zeta(kappa), we obtain a formula for the discriminant D-kappa/Q of the algebraic number field kappa in terms of an integral of zeta(kappa) on the critical line. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Inc.
