【 摘 要 】

A result on existence of positive solution for a fourth order nonlinear elliptic equation under Navier boundary conditions is established. The nonlinear term involved is asymptotically linear both at the origin and at infinity. We exploit topological degree theory and global bifurcation. (C) 2011 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
