The ASEAN and its member states are facing diverse institutional and geopoliticalchallenges. Of further concern are environmental and social issues as well as new economicdynamics (including China’s Belt-Road-Initiative). The interdisciplinary EU funded research projectCompeting Regional Integrations in Southeast Asia (CRISEA) investigates current developments inSoutheast Asia, using a broad array of topics, perspectives and approaches.
