【 摘 要 】
The objective of this article is to reflect on the relationship between school education and the thinking development of the individual, identifying in the Historical-Critical Pedagogy theoretical support to the thesis that education and teaching are central determinations for the formation of conscience. We pointed out the political dimension of the knowledge socialization problem, arguing that disseminating the theoretical link with reality is the object of the class struggle. We emphasize that school education is justified as essential mediation to the development of theoretical thinking, because the act of thinking requires thinking of an object, thus it is not possible to consider the educational praxis emptied of school contents.
