【 摘 要 】

The growth of cities at the expense of surrounding towns has been an indisputable process. Theinterestingthingaboutthisprocessisthatalthoughthesearespacesthatchange(for urbanization), they are also territories that remain in memory, territories that are built in the imaginaryandarepreservedbecauseitmeans"something"foritsinhabitants.Thisisthe case of the town of San Miguel Carrillo (north of the city of Querétaro), a place where the senseofbelongingisbuiltfromsocialorganization(basedon popularreligiosity)anda commonpasttheyshare.Inthecollectivememoryofthecarrillensestherearetwofacts that marked the historical evolution of the town: 1) the expropriation of the ejido and 2) the impact of the industrial park (not only for the change of land use and productive sector, but alsobecausethewaterbecamescarce).Thesetwoeventsarenarratedandareassumedto date as a great loss, as a historical debt that the city has with them.
