【 摘 要 】

The purpose of this paper is to establish that semiotics has been wrongly engaged in what is called the «phenomenological turn». It will be shown through the analysis of a colour, namely roseate, that the semiotic approach attempts to identify the intensive and extensive valences which are gathered more or less luckily within the dictionaries. Otherwise than phenomenology the semiotic approach has as its object a complexity which is resolved by the analysis into the construction of a definition because this latter is itself an analysis. When units of a larger extension are concerned, this happens by composing the semiotic modes, currently three of them in number: the mode of efficiency, the mode of existence and the mode of junction. Thus the major discursive data as are the fact, the affect and the novelty can be resolved.
