Phenological aspects of Thelypteris interrupta (Willd.) K. Iwats. (Thelypteridaceae) in a fragment of Atlantic Forest in Paraíba, northeastern Brazil

【 摘 要 】

This study analyzed the phenological aspects of a population of Thelypteris interrupta (Willd.) K. Iwats. that occurs in a fragment of Atlantic Forest in the state of Paraíba, Brazil. A population of this species was delimited in a field and observed for 12 months, during which phenological data was recorded and then compared to seasonal climatological data. The results revealed that climatic seasonality did not influence phenological events in T. interrupta. Moreover, there were no differences in renewal intensity, senescence or foliar herbivory between the dry and rainy seasons.
