【 摘 要 】
The hydrological observation of the Red Bay was carried out in summer and winter. The characteristics of the Red Bay current were analysed and used as a verifying data of the mathematical model. A mathematical model of two-dimensional ocean current based on triangular mesh is established. The model uses the prediction result of the South China Sea regional circulation as the boundary condition, and the numerical simulation and verification of the sea current are carried out in the Red Bay. The results show that the calculated results of the model agree with the measured data. The seasonality of the current is quite different in summer and winter. This area is mainly affected by monsoon, and there is a distinct monsoon circulation, which is consistent with the basic characteristics of the South China Sea current.
