A Study of factor of Administration toward Excellence Development Model for Schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 32

【 摘 要 】

The purposes of this research were to study the current status of administrationtoward excellence of schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office32 ; and the components of administration toward excellence of schools under theSecondary Education Service Area Office 32. This research employed both the quantitativeand qualitative research methodologies. The research sample in the quantitative studyconsisted of 412 administrators and teachers in schools under the Secondary EducationService Area Office 32. A questionnaire was employed in data collection. Data werestatistically analyzed with confirm factor second order factor analysis. In the qualitativestudy, in-depth interview was the data collection method. The target group consisted of17 purposively selected educational administrators, school administrators, and educationalexperts.Results were as follows: The current state of administration toward excellence ofschools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 32 comprised academic affairsadministration, budget administration, personnel administration, and general administration, allof which were practiced at the good level. The administration toward excellence of schoolsunder the Secondary Education Service Area Office 32 comprised four components, namely,academic affairs administration, budget administration, personnel administration, and generaladministration.The academic affairs administration comprised the school-based curriculumdevelopment, the learning process development, the measurement and evaluation of learningoutcomes and transfer of learning credits, the school-based research for educationalquality development of the school, and the educational supervision. The budgetadministration comprised the budget planning ; the monitoring, follow-up and reporting ofexpenditures and performance outcomes ; the mobilization of educational resources andinvestment ; the financial management and budgetary control ; and the assets and inventory management. The personnel administration comprised the manpower planning and positionallocation, the personnel procurement and appointment to positions, the discharge ofpersonnel, the enhancement of work performance efficiency, and the discipline andmaintenance of discipline. The general administration comprised the administrative andrecords work ; the buildings, facilities and environment administration ; and the studentaffairs administration. In addition, the quantitative and qualitative study results were inaccord and in the same direction.
