【 摘 要 】
ExtractofovendriedleavesofPongamiapinnata(L)Pierrewasusedforthesynthesisofsilvernanoparticles.StableandcrystallinesilvernanoparticleswereformedbythetreatmentofaqueoussolutionofAgNO3(1mM)withdriedleafextractofPongamiapinnata(L)Pierre.UV-visiblespectroscopystudieswerecarriedouttoquantifytheformationofsilvernanoparticles.Transmissionelectronmicroscopy,X-raydiffractionandFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopywereusedtocharacterizethesilvernanoparticles.TEMimagedivulgesthatsilvernanoparticlesarequitepolydispersed,thesizerangingfrom20nmto50nmwithanaverageof38nm.Watersolubleheterocycliccompoundssuchasflavonesweremainlyresponsibleforthereductionandstabilizationofthenanoparticles.SilvernanoparticleswereeffectiveagainstEscherichiacoli(ATCC8739),Staphylococcusaureus(ATCC6538p),Pseudomonasaeruginosa(ATCC9027)andKlebsiellapneumoniae(clinicalisolate).Themovetowardsextracellularsynthesisusingdriedbiomassappearstobecosteffective,eco-friendlytotheconventionalmethodsofnanoparticlessynthesis.
