TheCebeciköyLimestonefromtheVariscanflyschofthe#304stanbulTerraneisassignedtotheforaminiferalMFZ11zone(lateearlyViséan,formerlyV2a).ThiszoneisessentiallytherangezoneofUralodiscusrotundus.Additionalbioeventsareproposedforcharacterizingtheupperpartofthisbiozone(MFZ11Bsubzone):theLADofEoendothyranopsisandtheFADofPararchaediscusandConilidiscus.Themajorityofforaminifersandalgae,belonginglocallytoMFZ11arewell-known,exceptforthefollowingtaxa:Issinellaluteotubulifomissp.nov.,I.enormissp.nov.,Vicinesphaeraparasqualidasp.nov.,Planogloboendothyramodestasp.nov.andEndothyrairinaeformissp.nov.The#304stanbulTerraneisconnectedwiththesouthernbranchofthePalaeotethys,whereastheZonguldakTerraneisconnectedwiththenorthernbranchofthisone.
