【 摘 要 】

Polymerized actin hydrolyzes bound ATP in a reaction that depends on the concentration of polymerized ATP-actin, not on the rate of incorporation of ATP-actin into the polymer. The apparent first order rate constant is about 0.07 s⁻¹ at 21°C in 50 mM KCl with 1 mM MgCl₂ or CaCl₂.
