【 摘 要 】

The partial amino acid sequences of cyanogen bromide peptides of endoglucanase II, 1,4-β-glucan glucanohydrolase (from Trichoderma reesei) were determined by automated Edman degradation with liquid and solid phase techniques. Computer programs for finding distant relationships between the two amino acid sequences were used to compare the partial sequences of endoglucanase II with the complete sequence of cellobiohydrolase I. Homologous regions were found for all the cyanogen bromide peptides.
