【 摘 要 】

A study was conducted concerning the physiological quality of sorghum seed, variety BR 601, dried in a stationary perforated central tube type drier. Three heights combined with four distances in relation to the central duct were studied, completing a total of 12 treatments. It was observed that, in general, the samples situated at 0.10m from the hot air duct presented lower moisture grade than the general sample (control). When the quality of the seeds collected in distinct sites was compared with that of the general sample , no significant differences in the quality tests were verified, by the F test, at 5% probability level.
