【 摘 要 】
ImpairmentoftheintestinalmucosalimmunesystemisanearlyfeatureofHIV‐infectedchildren.Mostinfectedchildrenexhibitclinicalgastrointestinalsymptomsatsomestageofinfection,andpersistentdiarrheaisamarkerforrapiddiseaseprogression.ItisknownthatTregsareespeciallyimportantinmediatingintestinalimmunehomeostasisandthatlossofthissubsetmayresultinintestinalinflammationandassociatedclinicalsigns.LargenumbersofFoxP3+Tcellswerefoundinalltissuesinnewbornmacaques,whichcoexpressedhighlevelsofCD25andCD4,indicatingthattheywereTregs.Moreover,neonateshadmuchgreaterpercentagesofTregsinintestinaltissuescomparedwithperipherallymphoidtissues.AfterSIVinfection,asignificantlossofTregswasdetectedintheintestinecomparedwithage‐matchednormalinfants.Finally,SIV‐infectedFoxP3+Tcellsweredetectedintissuesinneonatesasearlyas7SIVdpi.TheseresultsdemonstratethatTregsconstituteasignificantfractionofCD4+Tcellsinneonatalintestinaltissuesandthatanearly,profoundlossofTregsoccursinacuteSIVinfection,whichmaycontributetotheintestinaldisordersassociatedwithneonatalHIVinfection...
