【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To investigate the knowledge, attitude and practice(KAP)on fall prevention of caregiver in patients with ascites of cirrhosis, and to provide the targeted health education measures. Methods  Totally 100 caregivers were included by using convenient sampling method. The self-designed fall prevention KAP evaluation questionnaire was used to investigate the KAP on fall prevention. Results  The investigation showed a poor knowledge level on fall prevention in caregivers, and with a insufficient and informal approached of learning. Those with associate or higher degree achieved higher score on attitude and practice(P<0.05), Those professional caregivers achieved higher score on attitude and practice compared with relatives(P<0.05). Those with formal training achieved higher score on attitude and practice compared with those without formal training(P<0.05). Those with nursing experience achieved higher score on practice compared with those without nursing experience(P<0.05). Conclusion  Medical staff should pay more attention on knowledge demand of fall prevention in the caregivers of patients with ascites of cirrhosis, and to carry out targeted health education to promote the knowledge, attitude and practice on fall prevention.
