【 摘 要 】

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the uniform care in diabetes management at non-endocrinology clinics. Methods 〓To select five clinical units as the pilot clinics(study group), and the diabetes link-nurse program was conducted according to the standards of diabetics care. To select another five clinical units as the control group, and the routine intervention was carried out to manage the patients with diabetes mellitus. Totally 620 patients(n=310 from the study group and n=310 from the control group)were selected by convenience sampling, and a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the awareness of patients on diabetes mellitus. Results 〓The scores of blood glucose monitoring, insulin injection, hypoglycemia care, insulin-pump use, diabetic foot care and diabetic diet in the study group were higher than those of control group(P<0.01). Patients from clinics of the study group achieved a higher score of diabetes knowledge assessment compared with that of patients in the control group(91.00±2.74 vs. 77.73±5.27, P<0.01). Conclusion 〓The application of uniform care based on diabetes link-nurses is effective to improve the quality of diabetes management at non-endocrinology clinics.
