【 摘 要 】
Ocean has feature of homogeneity, while how to quantify the homogeneity of matter content in marine waters remaines challenge. This paper established quantitative methods for matter content in marine bay. Definitions, calculate models and grading standards for Yang's non-homogeneous column (YNHC) and Yang's homogeneous degree (YHD) were provided. The YHDs could be divided into six grades, as well as the relative YNHCs. Furthermore, a case study was prvided to demonstrate the application of this methods on cadmium (Ca) in Jiaozhou Bay, China. Results showed that the YNHCs of Cd in April, July and October 1988 were 0.01 μg L-1, 0.87 μg L-1 and 0.01 μg L-1, respectively, and the THDs were 90%, 9% and 75%, respectively. The distributions of Cd contents in Jiaozhou Bay April, July and October 1988 were significant homogeneous, non-homogeneous and significant homogeneous, respectively. The influence of river runoff resulted in the non-homogeneous distributions of matter content, while the influence of marine current resulted in the non-homogeneous distributions of matter content. Matter contents in the ocean were stirring and transporting by tide and current, and the contents of the substances are tending to be very homogeneous.
