【 摘 要 】
Manganese oxide-zirconia type (MnOx:ZrO2) sorbents were prepared using the sol-gel technique by co precipitation ZrO(NO3)2.xH2O and Mn(NO3)2xH2O. The heat treatment below 500°C resulted a high surface area solid structure which consists of amorphous Mn2O3(Bixbyite) and amorphous ZrO2phases. This material was found a high capacity oxidative sorbent for mercury removal from gas streams.
