【 摘 要 】

The paper considers the process of edge cutting machining applied to the running surface of a defective-form kiln tire with portable machines without shutdown of cement clinker production. Conditions are formulated for geometry generation; related changes in reference surfaces are defined. These features are integrated into an algorithm aimed at minimizing deviation of the kiln tire from circular profile when modeling its repair.
