【 摘 要 】

This report has been prepared in response to the request by the Economic and Social Council to the United Nations Secretary-General, in its resolution 2006/46, to inform the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) on the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) as part of his annual reporting to the Commission.

The report has been prepared by UNCTAD secretariat based on information provided by entities in the United Nations system and elsewhere on their efforts during 2013, with a view to sharing effective practices and lessons learned.
