This study answers the question: Whatare the results of the World Bank's Multi-CountryHIV/AIDS Program (MAP) for Africa. It documents thecontributions of the MAP over the past five years, drawingon countries' survey and program data that are notusually captured in routine World Bank reporting systems. Italso proposes a new Results Scorecard and Generic ResultsFramework to better measure and report future results ofHIV/AIDS programs in Africa that the World Bank helps to support.
