【 摘 要 】

In the GLDN seminar, the recoveryprocedures in the aftermath of the Kobe earthquake and theAsian tsunami were discussed. This introduction toCatastrophe Risk Financing Frameworks seminar providedparticipants with an understanding of catastrophe riskfinancing frameworks. In addition, it informed participantsof new product lines in risk mitigation and risk finance andtransfer and shared experiences of Bank-financed projects,including Turkey's Catastrophic Insurance Pool.
