This short country report, a result oflarger Information for Development Program (infoDev) -supported survey of the Information and CommunicationTechnologies (ICT) in education in Africa, provides ageneral overview of current activities and issues related toICT use in education in the country. Comoros - one of thepoorest and smallest countries in the world, with acoup-prone, turbulent history over the past few decades -Comoros boasts a national ICT policy as an expression of itsgovernment's commitment to promote improved ICTinfrastructure, as well as access and usage across theeducation system. There are, however, very few initiativesunderway that promote the use of ICTs in Comoran schools andeducation institutions.
