【 摘 要 】

The Health Sector Recovery Program (HSRP ) - 1996-2003 -- was the first Bank-assisted project inMozambique to move towards a sector-wide approach. Itsobjective was to support the Mozambican National HealthStrategy, that is, the improvement of the health status ofthe population, in general, and a decrease in infant andchild mortality in particular. The HSRP helped bringtogether the Ministry of Health and 16 other donors tosupport one coherent strategy. This Note describes theimpact of the project on the ground and lists lessons learned.
