【 摘 要 】
This paper examines the contribution ofinternational organizations to the development of the socialenterprise sector worldwide, and assesses the types ofprograms and policies international organizations are usingto promote this agenda globally. The results indicate thatinternational organizations' support to the socialenterprise sector has consisted primarily of providingfinancial resources, notably grants. However, internationalorganizations' contributions to developingsector-specific policies have been limited. Furthermore, many programs that are supported by internationalorganizations remain largely unassessed. The paper proposesa set of policy recommendations directed primarily tointernational organizations and the public administration,to improve and enhance the development of the socialenterprise sector.
