【 摘 要 】
Despite the widespread popularity ofentrepreneurship education, there is thin evidence on itseffectiveness in improving employment outcomes over themedium to long term. A potential time lag betweenentrepreneurial intentions and actions is sometimespresented as a reason why employment impacts are rarelyobserved. Based on a randomized control trial amonguniversity students in Tunisia, this paper studies themedium-term impacts of entrepreneurship education four yearsafter students' graduation. The paper complementsearlier evidence that documented small, short-term impactson entry into self-employment and aspirations toward thefuture one year after graduation. The medium-term resultsshow that the impacts of entrepreneurship education wereshort-lived. There are no sustained impacts onself-employment or employment outcomes four years aftergraduation. There are no lasting effects on latententrepreneurship either, and the short-term increase inoptimism also receded.
