【 摘 要 】

This paper explores the topic of depreciation of human capitalas a possible explanation for observed trends in the returnsto education in the Russian Federation. Estimates ofdepreciation are presented for various sample groups. Depreciationfirst decreased and then increased in the period1994-2018. University educated workers add human capitaleven after they stop full-time studies; this happens lesswith vocational graduates.
