The Enterprise Surveys (ES) focus onmany aspects of the business environment. These factors canbe accommodating or constraining for firms and play animportant role in whether an economy’s private sector willthrive or not. Questions contained in the ES aim at coveringmost of the topics mentioned above. The topics includeinfrastructure, trade, finance, regulations, taxes andbusiness licensing, corruption, crime and informality,access to finance, innovation, labor, and perceptions aboutobstacles to doing business. This document summarizes theresults of the Enterprise Survey for Paraguay. Businessowners and top managers in 364 firms were interviewedbetween February and August 2017. The report provides adescription of the sample breakdown across the three surveydesign categories: business sector, firm size, and location.
