The corporate scorecard providesinformation on the Bank's overall performance andresults achieved by its clients against the backdrop ofglobal development progress. The scorecard facilitatesdialogue between management and the board on progress madeand areas that need attention. The four-tier scorecardcovers the full spectrum of International Bank forReconstruction and Development (IBRD) and InternationalDevelopment Association (IDA) activities. The corporatescorecard uses an integrated results and performanceframework, which is organized in a four-tier structure thatgroups indicators along the results chainTwo of the tierstrack elements of development results (tiers one and two),and the other two capture elements of performance (tiersthree and four). As the summary shows, the corporatescorecard monitors, at an aggregate level, whether the Bankis functioning efficiently and adapting itself successfully(tier four), and whether it is managing its operations andservices effectively (tier three) to support countries inachieving results (tier two) in the context of globaldevelopment progress and priorities (tier one). It presentsa high-level view and is not intended to provide country oractivity-level information.
